Walkers and Talkers

The Walkers and Talkers group meets each Friday at 8:30am, before the day becomes too warm. The walks are carefully selected to be not too challenging and not too long. We will review our definition of challenging after a time as we become fitter and more experienced.

Most Friday walks are local to Brunswick Heads. We have a selection of different walks around the area. Once a month, on the first Friday, we go somewhere further afield. Currently we are exploring the new Rail Trail around Burringbah, Mooball and Crabbes Creek.

Whether the walk is local or further afield, we meet at the (Ex) Fishing Co-op in Brunswick Heads. This is our base. We start our Bruns walks here, we meet to carpool for our First Friday special walks here and this is where we usually have our coffee and de-brief after the walk. Morning tea is provided.
