Philosophy for Everyday Life

We’re all interested in life — what it means, how it feels, and how we make sense of it. Being in the world today can be comforting at times and confronting at others. Life can seem messy, challenging, sometimes joyful, and often mysterious. Most of us carry quiet questions about meaning and purpose: What is this life? What makes it worthwhile? Why do things happen the way they do?
In this course, we’ll talk about everyday life and the importance of love, connection, place, belonging, attachment, and the stories we tell ourselves about what matters.
Through gentle, easy‑to‑follow philosophical conversations, we’ll explore how life is — the simple “is‑ness” of things — and how it might be different. We’ll do this in the context of a rapidly changing world, which makes these reflections not just interesting but helpful. Above all, these sessions are about sharing how we make sense of our everyday lives — and why these matter.
