Brunswick Debaters
There has never been a time with so many things to talk about, and so great a desire to talk about them.
Brunswick Debaters is a group for those U3A members who enjoy lively debate, want to find out more about key issues and wish to share ideas in a non-threatening environment. Members will be free to contribute, suggest new topics and present them. We will meet on the first Monday of the month in members’ homes.
Some suggested topics:
- What good are the arts?
- Has the woke agenda gone too far?
- What have the Greeks ever done for us?
- What do we do with all the empty churches?
- Is democracy alive and well in Australia?
- Is global heating a hoax?
- How do we help our young people?
- Is the ABC a left wing conspiracy?
